Sync to SharePoint Workspace option not visible for one user


One of our users cannot see the option to “Sync to SharePoint Workspace” in on of our sites. However, I can see the option and also sync the site without any problems.

Possible solution

First, please ensure the user is using the Internet Explorer browser 7 or higher to open his team site.

Second, please ensure that the “Groove Site Client ActiveX” add-ons of your IE browser is “Enabled” status.

To check it, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open “Internet Options”.
  2. Under “Programs” label, click “Manage add-ons” button.

  3. Check the the status of “Groove Site Client ActiveX”, to make sure it is enabled.
